Expiring Aircraft
I have no idea where to post this so hopefully someone can move it to its proper location.
With the recent last commercial passenger flight of the MD-11 I've started wondering what other airlines will soon make their last flights in the near future. I know last year the last 707 was flown in Iran. That makes 2 planes that will never make another commercial flight again and unless I become best friends with John Travolta, I will never fly aboard a 707.
My question is are their any other airplanes that have an imminent end date in site and if so who is still operating those aircraft?
Thanks!

The McDonell Douglas MD-80 aka "Super 80" is still in use at AA, but is due to retire within a few years. Dunno if anyone else will keep flying them longer.
If you can still find a Fokker big regional jet (so big you might think you're simply on a smaller mainline plane), those are slowly disappearing, since the original company went poof some years ago. (Though a new company is trying to restart them.) I flew one about a decade ago when KLM CitiHopper flew them on short hops from AMS. I think it was probably the Fokker 70, since KLM CityHopper still apparently flies those.
