Airline Receipt Rant :)

Is it too much of o ask that an airline present me with a receipt for my expense report that does not take 7 pages to print?

Just saying ...

Ok, I'm better again now.

Receipt Rant :)

I'm glad that helped, but I'm sure it was only a temporary cure

I have yet to see a receipt close to 7 pages, but it would be nice if they could make it fit on one oage. Or maybe have a 'small type' option so that you can choose whether you want the fine print extra small.

My receipt from UAL that gets e-mailed to me (SFO/BKK/SFO) is at most 2 pages, plus some more fine print that I simply don't print.

I've never seen a 7-page receipt. But, presumably you only need to print the page(s) which contain the detail required for your report. Rarely spills onto a second page.

Reminds me of the receipts I get whenever I go to CVS. I buy one or two things, and they give me a receipt that's 1.5-2 feet long. And most of it is coupons that I can't use.

Is it too much to ask the dinosaur businesses that still use manual expense management solutions to get with the digital program? Printing digital receipts wastes time, paper, and printer ink.

While we are on an airline recept rant maybe it is just me, or the AA emails but I wish the booking carrier listed PNR's of all operating carriers if traveling on a codeshare. My AA email only lists my AA PNR, but I have flights on US and BA on an upcoming itinerary. If I log in to my AA account I can see the US PNR, but not BA, looks like I have to call AA to get my BA PNR?

What a pain, I wish the email had everything in one place.
