Yes, but the Queen is UK, US President is not USA.

To be honest, I'm not sure how it worked - everything on the booking was under the alias name, but I used my passport when going through security etc. I assume the company dealt directly with the airline, and there would be a flag in the system that security and gate personnel would understand

I was in the IT security side of things when I worked for them, so that's why they had me travel under an alias - knew vulnerabilities in their network etc - never actually did any transportation myself.

I remember getting trained on this years ago when taking a course on how to use SABRE (or maybe GAL). You booked as an alias -rather than a fake name -and the PNR showed everything in the assumed name unless you dug deeper into the PNR itself but passenger lists showed the assumed name.
Anyone famous I ever booked used their own name (or the name on their passport wasn't their stage name anyway) so I don't think I ever used the process.

At least you got to use that knowledge-2 TAs that I know have never been required to do that.

Yes, he had to go through TSA security at MEM. If State and DHS handles things properly, then he has the option of a special screening out of sight of the public.

As a US citizen, there is a very specific process to use to get a second. It's pretty straightforward. Passport application, personal statement of why you need it, and typically a letter from your employer stating why you need it and it's importance to the business.

In my case it was to get visas while traveling to other countries. I'm guessing there is a similar mechanism for other countries.

What's funny is they will only issue the second for two years at a time, but issue you one of the fat 52 page passports.

Now if only SG could recognize both passports at their entry and exit kiosks...

I like this as well (only for different visa requirements/waivers with each passport and ability to apply for frequent traveller programmes.)
