Zero Gravity Flight

Hello all,

I wonder if there are people who have signed up for Zero Gravity Flights on www.gozerog.com

I signed up for a Zero G flight later this year - and today I got this email:

Dear Future ZERO-G Flyer,

We regret to inform you that due to the restructuring of our flight operations management, we are postponing our 2014 ZERO-G flights. Were excited to have you enjoy the ZERO G Experience in the near future and intend to post a schedule for 2015 in the coming months.

As a gesture of good-will, we are offering to convert your current reservation to a gift certificate and receive a $1,000.00 discount (refund) on your flight. The gift certificate will be valid through May 31, 2016. If you choose to decline this offer, we will issue a full refund pursuant to our Terms and Conditions.

We understand this is disappointing and apologize for any inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you weightless in 2015!

Any thoughts on what I should do? Claim the $1000 (US$) or get a full refund?

Many thanks!

My guess is that the cost was $5k.

The cost to charter the aircraft for a ZERO-G Experience is $165,000 + 5% tax and can accommodate up to 36 participants.

I would take the full refund.

Yes. I have written to them to ask for a refund.

The price was around US$5000 for the flight.
