AVOID SFO!!! 2 runways will be closed this summer

You have avoid flying to SFO. 2 runways will be closed from Mid-May through Mid-September 2014. Due to FAA maintenance.

You have fly to OAK or SJC instead. This flights will be delayed. Due to slot controlled.

You have change the trip.

Please change the flight right way and don't fly to SFO. Due to runways maintenance.

Could be a challenge for UA flyers as UA no longer flys from OAK. At least AA now has some limited partner availability with US from OAK.

Only in SF would they do this in peak tourist season. Having said that, it would be easy for many airlines, and especially UA, to trade some frequency for bigger planes. For example, I was on a narrow body to IAD last night and they had another one only 35 minutes earlier. Easy to turn it into one flight.

Not so easy to just upguage the equipment. 1) The airframes must be available. 2) The planes regularly scheduled on these routes are planned to be used on other flights.

I didn't say it was impossible, just not so simple to do.

Avoid??? BS....as if there was a swine flu outbreak in SFO.

I am sure ATC, Dispatch and airlines will have the right measurements in place.
