mht through PHL to phx

Do you still have to get on a bus when coming from the northeast through phl on US? I'll be connecting to phx I want to make sure 45 min. is enough time.
thanks

Yes, terminal F requires a bus to connect to other terminals. Buses depart from the food court in the center of the terminal. Terminal F has been renovated and is very nice. Think they are running separate buses for terminal A or C drop so check which will be closer to your connecting gate.

Some northeast flights arrive in terminal B or C (usually E190)

If you have an F-to-C, F-to-A, etc. connection 45 minutes is pushing it. Don't do this at night when a missed connection means a forced hotel stay.

Thanks< is there anyway in advance though you can tell what terminal you'll be leaving from before you buy your ticket?

No way to know gate assignment in advance but checking same flight number over several days can help you guess.

Gates assignments often change, including in flight. Mainline flights go to A, B, C. Dash 8 go to F. Embrarer usually B/C in my experience.

I have a choice between 2 airports MHT & BOS. MHT always seems to land at F , Not sure where BOS flights normally land. Last time we left from MHT to PHL it was a horror show. Amazing the difference in price on flights between the 2 airports and on the same airline to same destination and they are only approx. 100 miles apart. Thanks
