Question - Splitting an E-ticket

Have a problem. Been issued an e-ticket ABZ-AMS-EBL. Problem is I'm in USA. If I can get to AMS on my own dime can I use just the AMS-EBL portion of the e-ticket without a problem having not flown the ABZ-AMS leg. Appreciate any advice.

Question - Splitting an E-ticket

This is probably the most commonly asked question. No. If you do not fly the first leg the remaining flights will be cancelled.

Almost every airline will cancel your onward travel if you do not show for the first leg of your trip.

You might get a more informed response if you post in the airline forum where you bought the ticket... but I know of no airline that will allow you to skip the first leg of a ticket and keep the remainder intact.
