A Plane flying through the Clouds

Saw something really neat this night driving home. A jet (I am assuming it was Jet Blue coming out of Worcester) was flying just below cloud level. Occasionally it would skim through them, and you could see the landing lights piercing through the clouds. It was neat as it turned and banked and picked up little highlights in the clouds.

I tried looking through Youtube but couldn't find anything - does anyone have a link to a cockpit view of a takeoff or landing at night when it is cloudy? I would think that would be neat.

*Mods - I have no clue where to post this - please move it to the most appropriate sub-forum if this isn't the one. Thanks!

A search for CatIIIB ILS (which is what you really want--with a decision height less than 50 ft AGL) gives this result: http://youtu.be/g185mUtaiSU

Enjoy, but hope your radio altimeter's working perfectly!

Isn't that the truth. That was about 50 feet and 8 seconds between the first hint of ground and touching down.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to be landing a plane and not being able to see anything. It's things like that which make me so amazed by pilots. What is so amazing is that there was no hint of how high up they were.

Meanwhile, inside the plane, the pax suffering through the bumps are grousing "Can't ATC give clearance for 100 feet lower?"
