What happens to the airline seats that are removed for an interior refurbishment.
For example when SQ updates their new long haul business class product what do they do with the physical seat that they remove?

A lot of the NW/DL ones get sold at the Delta Museum in ATL periodically.
Anything with any commercial value is gonna get sold to another airline first.

I understand this will be highly unlikely but think it would be a cool facet in a shop I'm opening.
Weird?
