Thread has not been active for a while but just saying that I would jump at the chance to try a double decker flatbed seat - assuming it's half the price of a regular flatbed. I'm most comfortable on a plane lying down and with the right pillow can even work on my laptop and with the right napkin maybe even eat dinner. I am prone to leg cramps and other cramps would be delighted to be in a flatbed bunk even on a 1hr short hop! Somewhat I guess others would not feel this way. But wish they would figure out a safe product like this!!! And if not a flatbed - maybe a barcolounger type seat in a double decker style? Just something with the feet fully horizontal and some decent recline and not the price of international business.
