What airplane maneuver amazed you the most?

There was a medical emergency on a Southwest flight from Dallas to New Orleans. We had already gone by Shreveport but the pilot circled back and did the tightest spirals I have ever seen a commercial plane do to descend so we could land quickly. It was like a corkscrew maneuver or spiral landing.
