Priority Pass 20% Off Question

I am not sure if this goes here or under travel products, but I will start here.

Is the 20% discount on Priority Pass going on now a good deal? Or do they offer better deals now and then?

I have the Select card (through AmEx), but it is practically worthless for me in EWR. So I am considering getting the full version, so I can access United lounges in EWR.

Unfortunately, both of those links are dead and bring up a window stating: "This special Priority Pass offer is applicable for the Visa cardholders in Asia Pacific only."

That said, what experiences have people had using the Standard or Standard Plus Priority Pass cards to access domestic US airport lounges? It seems that many of them are operated by United.

My understanding is that the credit card company's priority pass access is often restricted (if you read the fine print on each lounge's webpage). But when I emailed the Priority Pass company they responded that the membership cards they offer do not have those same restrictions - they claim you can access all lounges in the program.

What's the definitive word? Can the cards really be used everywhere or are they blowing smoke?

Thank you Savage25, but you are correct. They did not work for me. But this made me think that I should call and ask, if they have a way to upgrade my card. I am sure there is a fee.
