Question re: Cancellations

Sorry if this is a little basic, but I need to change a flight on US Air to leave on a Sunday night instead of a Monday morning. The Sunday night flight is dirt cheap, and so when I do the math it is cheaper to just buy the Sunday night flight and skip the original Monday flight than to pay the change fees. Will this be ok, or is it possible that the trip will get screwed up because there system will have us leaving from the same airport to the same destination on consecutive days?

Thanks for the help.

Question re: Cancellations

In my experience, if your reservations are for roundtrip travel and you miss the first segment of your flight, all subsequent legs are cancelled. I'd suggest you calling your carrier to let them know.

Question re: Cancellations

If its a one way, you are ok, However if the original itinerary was a round trip, skipping your initial flight will cause your return ticket to be cancelled.

It is actually the return leg I am talking about-- in that case, do you think it will be ok?
