Question TravelBuzz Poll: Stranded at ORD?

The thread about overnight delays at airports brought back memories, and made me wonder:

"As a through passenger connecting at Chicago, O'Hare (ORD), have you ever been delayed due to weather or weather-related cancellations during the past 10 years?"

1. Never
2. At least once, for more than 4 hours
3. At least once, for more than 8 hours

Thanks to Ocn Vw 1K for inserting the poll into this thread!

I've never connected through ORD, period. I have been stuck on the plane after landing for an hour plus, though.

Firstly, the title of this poll will mean the results will heavily skew towards users who have been stranded at ORD.

Secondly, no. Been waiting for hours to depart, but not due to weather.

Nope! Longest delay is 3 hours on a UA flight to LHR.

No - I avoid ORD in winter and mid-summer.

Been stuck many times, if it is overnight I get a car and drive home (7 hours) unless it is a snow storm of course.

I refuse to fly in/out of ord with one person I work with. Over three years, he got stuck overnight every time there. Probably a dozen trips all told. Good thing is he flies *A while I am OW so I'm rarely on the same flight.
