Business class consolidators-HELP

Hi all I am a newbie and was wondering if someone could give me some guidance on purchasing discount business class fares from UK to Sao Paulo in Brazil. In fact it can be Lima, Peru or any city in northern Brazil as the plan is to spend 18 days. I want to see northern Brazil as I have seen a lot of the South and wanted to visit Peru. Any help and guidance to websites, tel no's will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

AJ

Just use miles, AJ; the bulk of the sites you find on google work on the premise of selling you miles anyway (greatly frowned upon by the airlines), so you might as well take control of the situation yourself.

Hi Moondog

Thanks for the reply-so are you saying purchase the miles from someone else or use the sites that are selling the miles?

These two threads might help you evaluate the risks:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...s-flights.html

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...ss-prices.html

I think using either Travel Tools or Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies Forum should be a safer way to search for affordable fares. Read some more discussion threads in those fora to get yourself started.

Good luck and welcome to FT!

I don't advocate buying miles from private parties (against the rules), but you can usually buy them directly from airlines (a good deal when they are on sale).
