There is some decent flexibility with the dates you posted, according to ITA your cheapest ticket option is on Alitalia from VCE (figured it was the same distance as VIE), for $785. Plenty of dates available within your range.
If you would rather fly from BUD or VIE, you can do that for $825 on Air France. Same dates.
Expect this thread to be moved though as this does not pertain to mileage runs.

If cheap is most important, BUF might be better to fly to. Then take a bus across the border.

Welcome to FlyerTalk! I hope that the forums are useful to you.
You will find lots of discussion about Mileage Runs and fare deals to make mileage runs possible.
FlyerTalk and Mileage Run Deals forum is not a travel agency:
- MR Deals is only for posting up fare deals that earn miles and status on airline frequent flyer programs and alliances.
- MR Discussion is for discussing those deals and the tools for finding such deals.
Here is the link to explain how the forums work:

Fare requests are not permitted.
Good luck with your search; you may find some tools to find fares in the Travel Tools forum. The Budget Travel forum may have some cheap fares or notice of some sale fares, which may also help.
You should use online travel agency sites and check with local travel agents to find you the best fares, then check on FT to see if any tools (like ITAsoftware matrix) can help you find any others.
Cheers, BiziBB, Moderator Mileage Run forums
