Medjet
I'm new on the forum and I hope I am posting this in the right area.
A short time ago I was researching Medjet for an upcoming international trip and I found a thread on this forum that is now closed. I wanted to add a comment that may be important to some of the other posters. I, too, was concerned about references for the company as I didn't want to buy a worthless membership. I learned that they are a recommended company for AARP members. So, anyone over 50 who is an AARP member can get a discount if you type in the right url. It seems that after the standard company url, you must type /aarp to get you to the correct form. Since that is quite a savings and it does provide some credibility to the company (which was the concern on the other thread), I thought I'd pass that along.

Not a member, but MedJet Assist are recommended by several higher end travel agents I know, who use them themselves. I'd take that as far more of an assurance than simply that they offer a discount to AARP members - everyone from Super 8 to the Bellagio offers discounts to AARP members, I am not sure it is reflection on the quality of the product.
