Where will I clear customs?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I'm flying on United from MNL -> GUAM -> HNL -> LAX.

Where on this will I have to clear customs? I'd assume Guam, could be convinced it's Honolulu, and would be stunned if it were LAX.

GUM and HNL, I believe. (Guam is outside of the U.S. customs zone, and has its own customs inspection.)

Ah, crap. Does this mean I'll have to pay double duty on my purchases made in Thailand?

I believe that Guam is a free port.
