We're doing a 2 wk tour of SW Ireland, first week on bikes, second week exploring by car/hiking. Last big trip for us before baby, hoping to have enough energy to complete all of the adventure!

Husband has just quit his job so we are taking a year or so off to have some fun.

- First stop if Hong Kong and Thailand for a month.
- Followed by 3 months in Australia
- Back to HNL for 2 months

It's going to be a busy year. Of course all those flights are in J using points.

As for Bangladesh, I had to work there for a month many years ago. The most depressing place I have ever been, felt as if there was no hope at all. India is much more upbeat and happening than Dhaka would ever be.

This is difficult to even wrap my mind around. Did you travel outside of Dhaka? I kind of feel like I have to see it for myself now.

Summer is strictly a staycation with my boat (and family of course ) - never plan to go anywhere for personal travel. Live in Maine, so summer is short and must be taken advantage of.

Cheers.

So far I have San Francisco and New York booked. Looking into Chicago and Denver and hopefully London for Labor Day. I did Dayton last week and New York and Austin in June.

Spent a week in Croatia with side trips to Montenegro and Bosnia in early July. Planning to visit Quito for a long weekend over Labor Day. I also have several domestic work trips.

A fine itinerary. It's nice to be an under-employed writer, it seems.

This summer for me:

Past:
New York (base)
St Andrews (old base)
Frankfurt, Darmstadt
Strasbourg
Dublin
Galway
New York

Upcoming:
Brisbane (new base)

Possibly: Hong Kong
