Appreciation Offer

I took a flight last December and the entire section I was sitting in for a United flight (or American Airlines) did not have video working. We were given an e-card and went online to choose a gift. I chose $50 dollars off the next flight. I don't remember ever getting a reference number.

I called United and they stated that they don't keep anything on file. I recall that Jet Blue once gave us a credit and they automatically applied it to the next flight. I called AA thinking I may have the airlines confused and the same thing.

1. Does anyone know which airlines off the ecard appreciation program?
2. If you don't have the reference number for that was anyone successful in getting the discount later?

Most airlines have some kind of program like this. Unfortunately, if you lost the certificate they gave you then you're out of luck.

Check your email. The code should have been sent there after you chose the coupon it online.
