747SP accommodation

How does the actual space available for passenger accommodation compare between 747SP and 777-200?

747SP is slightly wider (cabin width 610 cm on any 747, 590 cm on 777) and has upper deck. But its length is 56,3 m, compared to 777-200 63,7 m.

Maximum no-frills seating is 440 on both. But this is exit limited in both cases. How would the non-exit-limited passenger accommodations, at equal level of comfort, compare?

Are you flying Iran Air? They're the last 747SP airline operator. The few remaining others are in VIP or government hands.

No.

At equal level of comfort, A380 would have seat number different from A318, obviously.

My question was inspired by this seatmap, with pitches unfortunately missing:
http://boardingarea.com/blogs/freque...-boeing-747sp/

Cattle class of 78 seats. 78 Business and 29 First Class seats. Just 185 total.

Considering that 777-200ER flies longer than 747SP, and 777-200LR especially so - how few seats should a 777-200 have?

You didn't ask how many seats each aircraft has (and you can't really answer that question as a carrier can configure them differently).

I read the question to be 'which aircraft is more comfortable.'

If the question is "Who has better seat pitch, Aircraft A operated by Carrier B or Aircraft X operated by Carrier Y" then you need to name the carriers.

I think he means how much floor space is available.

For discussion purposes: This is a highly schematic seating chart of EK's 777-200LR in service on routes from LAX-DXB nonstop, for example. EK's version carries 266 passengers in 3 classes.
