Would this itinerary be possible?

I will be travelling to Mexico City from BWI through ATL. I was hoping to take an amtrak train to the BWI station arriving at 12:29pm. Would I be able to get the Delta terminal and go through check-in and security in time for a 2pm (international) flight?

Agree. The buses run every 10 minutes or so. The question would be Amtrak. What's the "plan B"?

Keep in mind it won't really count as international, since you are only getting on the domestic portion. Do you have any status with Delta, or are you checking bags?

If you arrive on time, you shoudl be fine. If you have status and there is an elite line, go for it. Otherwise, you might be safer catching the Amtrak that arrives an hour earlier, just to be safe.
