Flight Aware Question

For the past year I have been using flight aware to look at air traffic tracking. I you pick a certain airport say PIT, it would show all aircraft enroute and that departed, and in another color it would show all air traffic in the area. You can hit the icon, it would show the airline and equipment. Example UA 1574 738 (ORD-EWR). The past week when going to the site it only shows a few aircraft in the area and not all aircrfraft and this is true whatever airport you choose. Is this a problem with the software or will complete tracking be avalaible.

They recently upgraded the map to be animated (moving symbols). The flights not going to the airport in question seem to have been removed; don't know if intentionally or a bug.

Thanks

But it is showing some flights not going to the airport. The example I gave using PIT it stilled showed UA 1574 (ORD-EWR). I live near CLE which has tons of aircraft flying
over, so how can I track all air traffic not plugging in the airport code.

Same here. I use this website to look at SFO traffic. It's not showing as many planes as it was. I don't know why.

There seems to have been a subtle change.

To see overflights you have to use the View Activity button on the left. If you jump to the EnRoute/Scheduled map the overflights are not shown.

I have noticed this same problem too (different airports). Since flight aware change their app, the nearby airplanes is not as good as it used to be. However on a computer you can see the traffic flying over a certain location. I believe those are the green planes.

They don't have the aircraft correct. Flight UA 1152 is a 737-800 and it is showing a 737-500. I see that error alot for the 737. Sometimes it just says
737.
