Stopover of various days
We are going from SJU to DEN on vacation but wish to stay a few days in NYC before arriving to DEN.
Which is the best way to purchase a ticket?
Do I just buy 1 one way ticket SJU-JFK
and then purchase a roundtrip multicity ticket
JFK - DEN
DEN-SJU ?
I do not see an option in the multicity to have layover of various days. Is there a less expensive way to do this than the one I propose? Thank you for the advise.

use multi city....put in the day of each leg...
sju-jfk date 1
jfk-den date 2
den-sju date 3
use orbitz/other to see multiple fares.....
you could also check it w/ a 1 way as in your post to see which is cheapest....

Thanks! I just noticed that orbitz multicity does provides you the option (kind of hiden) to place a 3rd leg. I ran my proposal through ortitz and it costs only $81 more to stop a few days in JFK that if I were to fly without the stopover. Definitely a much better option than what I proposed which was $200 more. Thanks again.
