Do you have multiple homes?

For those who travel between certain cities quite a bit, do you have multiple places (not actual hotels or long-term stay places, nor a vacation house you might spend two or three weeks at a year, but an actual place)? How much do you spend in each city/town?

Yes I do. I travel between YVR, HKG & LAX quite frequently. HKG my parents kept the flat when they moved to YVR. So ever since I was young we have been flying back and forth YVR - HKG each year. Parents would spend winter months in HKG, while summer back in YVR.
when the US housing market crashed I manage to find a decent price apt in LA and was renting it out for a year until I started to go down to LA more frequently.

are you asking about mortgage/rent paid per city? or just overall spending in each city?

ORD - 10 percent of my time
MCO - 30 percent of my time
SEA - 10 percent of my time

The rest is spent in hotels.

A grossly-overpaid and underworked friend of mine has seven homes on three continents. Two or three are always in some state of rebuilding/renovation which gives him something to complain about. Mo money mo problems you know. Awhile back I read a list of the most overcompensated professions: his is #1. I'll let you guess

Yes. I own a house in Preston, Lancashire UK (airport used mainly = MAN but also LPL) which 2 of my kids live in. I also rent an apartment in Indianapolis, IN (airport IND) with my wife. I travel very light between the two as I have two wardrobes. The wife on the hand uses her full Delta GM luggage allowance and my PM allowance too!!

Women - you can't live with them, and you can't live without them!

Indeed

Ten most overpaid jobs in the U.S.

Read the first page of comments (ignore mine) and you'll see that airline pilots actually do get a lot of love.

Consider that thanks to the major media we all know what pro sports stars make but none of us has a clue how much the team owners are bringing home...

I have 3.
Own a home in SF.
Rent a loft in LA (work)
Own a home in Taipei.

Usually in SF 20-30% of the year. In LA 50% and TPE the rest.
