Advice from YUL to ISB

Have a trip in early January to get to ISB from YUL.

Option A to take the 777 direct to Qatar, then onwards.
Option B to go through YYZ and take the 380 through Dubai with Emirates, (2 stops)
Option C through YUL -Frankfurt with LH then switch to Eithad to ABU then ISB. (2 stops)

I'm Star Alliance gold and will get a shower and break in FRA, + points. Probably little chance of upgrade as it is not an AC flight. Only reason to go via Frankfurt is the miles. Only reason to take Emirates is the 380 and a few hours in Dubai airport.

Any reason not to take the Qatar flight if they are all equal cost in Y class? Seems like its likely the best Y class service, good connection and only 1 stop.

Cheers

If tier miles are not your main concern, I'd go for QR any day. Their 77Ls are very comfortable in Y and service is pretty good on-board too.

Also, QR has partnership with a lot of *A carriers like US, UA, OZ, NH etc... If you are holding FFP with any of these, you still earn miles if you fly QR.

But if you are fixed on earning * miles, then LH is your best option.
