Best tongue in cheek airline/aviation nicknames

There are plenty of funny nicknames floating around. The best one I heard was a while ago for United's website. I figured people might like a list so I'll start

American Airlines - European Airlines (now that they buy mostly Euro planes)
Southwest Airlines - Southworst Airlines
United Airlines Website - .bomb instead of .com

Anyone have any others?

yeah, but isn't .bomb standard throughout FT to refer to any carrier's own website?

Would Delta being an acronym for "Don't Expect Luggage To Arrive" qualify for this thread?

It would seem "funny" is somewhat subjective in this instance.

I've never heard that one. AA operates an overwhelmingly US-made fleet. The major exceptions are the old retired A-300s (not in service) and the new Boeing/Airbus split order.

According to the relevant Lonely Planet guides from about 12 years ago, MIAT (the Mongolian airline) stands for "Maybe I'll Arrive Today," and regarding the Indonesian airline Merpati they said, "It's Merpati and I'll fly if I want to."
