Transfer of Luggage
(applogy if this is in wrong section)
Have a general question for any international flyer....I want to make it to London late at night 10PM on a same day flight. Only option I have is a flight that has a 2 hour layover until it leaves for Heathrow. My question is, will my luggage make it the 2nd flight (to London) in that amount of time? I know international flights start boarding about 45 min at least before departing? Leaving from Dulles, Washington, DC.
Any help appreciated

Welcome to Flyertalk.
If you are on time, two hours is way more than enough time for your luggage to make the connection.
Post the airport you are leaving from, the airport you are connecting in, and which airline and we can be more specific.

Hello, TY for the welcome
Flight Im looking at
leaving from MGW in AM connecting to IAD in DC, 2 hour layover then off to London, Heathrow.
On the way back I know I need time for customs....layover is 2:41 min....was wondering if this was enough time as well. I know from DC to CRW boarding starts 30 min before the flight...
all on UNITED
