Lie-flat seats/beds
Hi,
Before the “BA First” lie-flat seat, it must have been impossible to sleep on long-haul flights? I reckon the Virgin UCS took it to a new level though. The Virgin UCS makes use of that little triangle of space behind the seat when it turns into a bed and that make’s all the difference. Did anyone do that before Virgin???!!

Interesting!
THe Virgin UCS is a neat solution when using a convertible seat/bed because since it is in a herringbone, it can use that little space behind the seat as part of the bed. I'm surprised no one thought of that before...
