Do you need 8 TVs?

I just saw a blurb in the newspaper about luxury suites in Las Vegas. One suite boasts EIGHT flat screen TVs, including one in each of the two bathrooms.

Question: Who would need 8 TV sets in a hotel room? Why?

Sounds like the SkyLofts at MGM Grand. It was actually nice to have a TV for the tub but the one in the mirror was overkill.

Answer: Anyone who needs to stay in that suite. Whether it works any better than buying any of those "male enhancement" products remains to be seen.

If I win the Powerball I'm renting that suite just so I can shoehorn the following into as many conversations as possible: "yeah I stayed in a luxury suite, it had 8 TVs, but I'm still down to earth".

This, you're trying to infuse logic where none exists.

This is a city based on wants, not needs.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia E71-2: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE71-2/200.21.118; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

On a different track, the big suites (many 3 brm)are often occupied by 6 (or more) people. Add in friends of the suite holder who are invited over, and the 6 main TVs (leaving out the bathroom ones) might barely be enough :;

My husband suggested it might be good on Election Night. Gather your fellow campaign workers and watch the returns on different channels.

growing up, at one point, I had about 5-6 TVs in my bedroom, each tuned to a different sports channel on digital cable, paying about $200 a month on TV. It was fun for a while but pretty soon, I got sick of all the clutter and now, I have just my laptop with a Hulu subscription
