Hi All
My First Post...This has been touched on a few years back but not recently. Can anyone tell me how to make the most of my TIDS number pertaining to personal travel? What if any airlines will offer a discount or is that only for IATA card holders?
Thanks

It sounds like you might not be eligible to use TIDS (I'm not). List of supporters is at http://www.iata.org/ps/accreditation...Pages/nam.aspx which shows lots of hotels but only a few airlines in North America, for example Air Canada. The IATA card is separate but quite useful if you are eligible. Both have a hefty annual fee as well as needing travel industry affiliation.

Thanks Number 6
I already have a TIDS number but am a bit confused about who accepts it for personal travel? I have read the IATA site but it seems many providers dont honor it for personal discounts?
Thanks

Realise this is an old thread, but having the same problem. I have a TIDS number and IATAN card but am not full IATA bonded agency. The list of TIDS supporters includes some airlines but they don't seem to give a discount unless fully bonded. Anyone know an airline who accepts the IATAN card as enough?
