Hidden City

Hi guys,

There are lots of threads regarding hidden city ticketing. However most of them revolve about:

- having a return flight
- having other segments after that people wish to fly

I am interested in the easiest way people do it:
last segment of a journey, no return flight, no checked bags, no rebooking issue for a cancelled flight...

All right, now having said that, I am interested if anyone had had bad experience doing it the easy way. Are there any track record of airlines (Delta) going after those customers and if they did what did they extract out of customers?

I am interested in blacklisting / status / fare difference kind of bad experience.

I know that a while ago a Judge went against DL that was trying to get $9000 worth of a traveller having a habbit to stop in CVG. Cannot blame him given the way DL was pricing CVG O/D at that time...

My regards,

Minos

There are indeed a number of threads in TravelBuzz talking about your alleged "easy way".
Here's one of them which focuses on a situation where repeated "drops" by a traveler of the last segment caused the airline to take some action:

As well, you posed and received an answer to the question earlier in the Delta forum. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...l#post15102191

My suggestion would be to either join the TravelBuzz thread linked above or re-join the Delta forum you started earlier. I'll close this thread. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator.
