Was planning to go to Doha for a conference in mid March. Being a faithful SkyMiles airlines traveller, wanted to go by business class and was looking for a reasonable fare. Whew, it is expensive, very few airlines fly that route, and Delta/partners have very few choices.
Why is flying to Middle east business class so expensive? I see so many postings on flying business/first. Where do you buy your ticket?
Two years back, I paid $12,000 for business class to Shanghai and the plane was an old rickety one.
