Baggage checked through

I have an Air Arabia flight next week from Luxor (LXR) to Bangalore (BLR) via Sharjah with a layover of 16 hours (6:30am to 22:00). I wanted to exit the airport and spend the day in Dubai. My questions are:

- I am assuming my bag will be checked through to BLR even though the layover is very long (i've never before had this much time difference between flights).

- As far as I've read there is a bus from Sharjah airport to the Dubai metro stop Al Rashidiya? What is the frequency and does this bus also run the other way? Any inter-emirate travel restrictions?

Thanks much!

I would assume that your baggage is checked through on a long layover that's less than 24 hours. If you have any doubts, check with the airline.

In this case, yes:

4. Can I check-in for my onward flight at the point of departure and reclaim my checked-in baggage at the end of the entire journey?

Yes you can claim your checked-in baggage at the end of the journey provided the entire flights are on Air Arabia. However, you need to report to the transit desk at Sharjah to claim your onward boarding card.
However, it's always worth checking with LCCs, as many have a strict "point-to-point" policy (where connections aren't even guaranteed, let alone baggage transferred...)

Personally, I'd just pack some necessities in a carryon bag and take that with me during the long layover. Why schlepp a huge suitcase if you don't need it?
