Flight times really can vary based on a number of variables such as winds, weather, etc. I've done this trip a couple of times and I would say the average in air time is about 1:45. YMMV.

Agree with the above re 1:45-ish in the air, but the schedule can allow up to 2:30 because at all 3 NYC airports depending on weather (which can close one or more runways) or just heavy air traffic at certain times of day, your flight could EASILY circle or be placed in a slowdown pattern for that extra time. Happens all the time into NYC. Allow the full 2:30 for your time budgeting and consider it a bonus if your flight beats it.
