Amazon.com - travel services?
Did Amazon.com offer travel (tickets for transportation) services at some point? I thought I'd read that they did, but when I look for such things on the site today, I don't find them.

Nope, they never have. Being Amazon, though, they do offer every conceivable thing you'd need to travelexcept the actual bookings, of course.
A long shot, but perhaps you were thinking of Google? They recently bought ITA Software, a big software company for the travel and booking industry.

No, I'm quite sure it was Amazon I'm thinking of - however, it was also probably 5 years that I read about this. Maybe it just didn't take off, and they dropped it. I was hoping to put a gift card from Santa
