Europe-Australia: BUSINESS CLASS - EMIRATES or ETIHAD?????

Europe-Australia: BUSINESS CLASS - EMIRATES or ETIHAD?????
Hello members - I hope you can help me make a choice....
We have flown EMIRATES recently and we were not THAT impressed by it's seat recline.
Now we have to fly again and here come my questions:
- lie flat on Emirates is cīnot really lie flat. And those "lie flat seats" aren't available on every aircraft configuration; DUS-DUX was okay, DUX-KL was not at all okay, KL-MEL again was good.
- rates are the same
- Emirates lounges were excellent
- the leg DUS.-DUX-KL-MEL took us almost 30 hrs.
- Limo service was fine.
Now I would sure cancel Emirates for the sake of Etihad but only if all aircrafts have real lie flat seats.
Additionally: Etihad flies UAE-MEL non-stop on both legs.
What is your experience. Would you pay the cancellation penatly of 200/ticket for the change towards Etihad?
