Can't understand the fare rule.....?
I have purchased a flight ticket through a travel agency which consists of two different airlines - one is with Jet Airways from Mumbai to London, the other is with scandinavian airlines from London to Oslo, Norway.
I want to cancel my ticket(s) and get a refund (minus cancellation fees of course) but my travel agency says that even though the Jet Airways-flight is refundable, the Scandinavian Airlines is not, and since these two are bought "together" the strictest rules apply for both tickets...
I looked up on the fare rules from Scandinavian Airlines for this particular flight, and it says:
NOTE - TEXT BELOW NOT VALIDATED FOR AUTOPRICING.
WHEN COMBINING ON A HALF ROUNDTRIP BASIS THE
PENALTY CONDITIONS FOR EACH FARE COMPONENT APPLY
Doesn't this mean that the fare rules of this ticket should ONLY apply for this particular flight, and not for others?
Or does it mean something else?
Help really appreciated....!
