Ghostly Encounter on a trip?

Has anyone ever experienced anything 'not from this world' on a trip? Could be a hotel stay, could be on a flight, a walk in the park, etc?

The Hotel Wales in NYC before it was renovated was quite other worldly complete with harp music coming from a very old world lounge-type room with very dark old paneling. I did hear that it has been totally refurbished though.

I had the privilege of touring the Orbiter Processor Facility a few months ago as the shuttle Atlantis was being processed. A large portion of the tiles were still tagged for repair, so I suspect some microscopic particles with an origin other than Earth were still attached.

We met the ghost at Muriels restaurant in New Orleans. First time ever. Threw a heavy menu on the floor right behind the waitress that was ignoring us. She knew and husband saw it come sailing in. I was like what, when she questioned me if I was ok, I honestly thought she threw it. And this is a five star restaurant.

Nothing else anywhere no matter what the ghost hunters say.

Now haunted houses are different and another thread.

Going to St. Augustine at the end of this year and hope to see some ghosties.

At Dachau site/museum.

My then-spouse and I went to the respective restrooms. One of us heard loud footsteps that had metal taps on the shoes.... the other had a chilling draft & a feeling that someone was in the room watching every move. But there was no one in the visitor center at all. And clearly no one except us in the restrooms.

Very spooky, in a very somber place.

Every summer we stay at the Alders Beach Resort on Vancouver Island - It's a series of rustic cabins on the beach.

The resort was originally built in the 1920s by the Comox Valley Logging company. Many people, including my sister, report seeing the ghost of an old woman dressed in what appear to be period clothes from the twenties or thirties. She only shows herself to women, and never gets closer that what appears to be ten feet away. Sometimes she's seen by women peering into the windows of the old cottages from outside.

Although she only shows herself to women, men have heard her (myself included), and sometimes she'll do things like switch lights on and off or turn the water on or off.

Most recently, my brother stayed in one of the 'haunted' cabins and woke up in the morning to find everything unplugged from the electrical outlets.

My experiences at Dachau were a little different. The day was an absolutely gorgeous Spring day, with everywhere else in Munich in full welcome to Spring mode.

At Dachau, not a single bird chirping, not an insect buzzing......nothing. The quiet was almost unnatural.

Back in 1994 I was at PHX waiting for my flight to board and was watching the planes land when I saw an Eastern Airlines jet come in for a landing.

Eastern "died" in 1991.
