Wrong salutation on airline ticket.

Hi,

I am travelling within the EU with AerLingus in a cuple of weeks.

I just realised that I accidently booked my ticket as MR instead of MS.

Do you think this will matter?

I don't want to go through the hassle of changing the name as it will cost €100.

Has anyone had trouble with this before?

I haven't been in the Situation myself, but assume it doesn't matter as long as your first and lastname are right.

If they ask, I'd joke about it and mention that I only became a MS a week before...

My wife's airline profile lists her as male, has the wrong salutation (Dr.), and the wrong middle initial. Never been a problem flying domestic, to the US, or international. As long as first and last names match your passport exactly you should be OK.

How hard is it to wear a suit with a stovepipe hat and put some fake mustache on (or don't shave for couple days)?

I like this plan, especially since 2 weeks doesn't allow enough time for gender reassignment surgery.
