Direct flights from Antalya?

I'm flying from IAD to IST, but plan to return from Antalya. Anyone aware of good connections to Europe without going through IST for the return flight to IAD?

TK has a direct route from Antalaya to ARN, i believe. It also seems that BA is flying to LGW, but from there you need to change to LHR to get on a TATL flight...

I'd look at the LCCs.
Try whichbudget.com

Also Atlas Jet, Onur Air, Pegasus and Sun Country are Turkish airlines that my have flights.

Charters

I've flown from AYT to Europe about a dozen times. Plenty of flights to Germany. (Tuifly and I think Air Berlin) and the UK (Thomas Cook to STN, LGW, LTN, MAN). Also consider a Sun Express, Turkish, or Pegasus flight to SAW (Istanbuls LCC airport on the Asian side) where you can connect with Easyjet and Air Baltic, which would make for an awkward, but interesting trip to IAD.

Options.

I have been what may be classed by some as a little sad, and to others a little helpful

I have looked into some airlines (not the LLC's, as my system would not allow) ... from AYT (Antalya) to commonly used European destinations for you ... am sure I may have missed alot, but below is what I found to be the best.

AYT-DUS XQ
DUS-LHR BA

AYT-FRA XQ
FRA-LHR BA

AYT-DUS XQ
DUS-MAN LH:BD

AYT-FRA XQ
FRA-LCY CJ:BA

There is one direct flight from AYT-MUC with XQ and also TK

These are the options which came up the most when I searched, most others went throuh IST which is what you wanted to avoid.

Then of course your TATL flight to IAD.

I hope this helps!
