Question could really use some help finding flights

Hi all,

My first post to this community. Exciting Seemed like this was the right place to post this but if I got it wrong then just let me know where I should shift it to.

I'm posted in Cyprus for a while, and my good buddies (2 adults) would love to come visit from Boston. The hiccup is, our searches so far for flights BOS-LCA-BOS have come back with these really high prices (above $1K each!) which is more than they can shell out these days.

They're looking to come over for about a week in the first half of May. Huge thanks for any ideas to find an affordable fare.

How about taking some ferries from either Athens or Turkey? That can be part of the adventure....

Try BOS-ATH and then look for separate cheap tickets on Aegean from ATH to LCA. That might be your best best. However, flight times may dictate an overnight in ATH on the return. I know that DL has an interline agreement with Aegean.

Another option might be BOS-AMS, then AMS-LCA on Cyprus Airways.

You can also try going through PRG - I know Czech airlines flies to LCA from PRG, but this may be a more expensive option since Czech Airlines no longer flies from the US.

And finally, if you fly from BOS to the UK (london or Manchester or possibly others) you can then get an Easy Jet flight to LCA. But I doubt if any airline has an interline agreement with EasyJet.

Lots of Brits go to Cyprus so if you can get to the UK, you can find cheap flights to Cyprus. Remember that these are seasonal and there are more flights April through September than during the winter.

Enjoy Cyprus! It's a great place.

It could be fun but a ferry from Athens (Pireaus) to Limassol would be a long trip and there are no ferry routes between Turkey and the Republic of Cyprus (Turkish ships do not have access to any ports in the Republic of Cyprus - Greek Cypriots do not have a good relationship with Turkey ever since Turkey took over part of the country).

Right after I posted this I saw the sticky saying these types of posts are not allowed, so deep apologies to the Mods. Promise not to do it again
