Ear Pressure
I've noticed that over the last couple of years that I nearly never experience ear pressure during takeoff or landing any more. I find that if I do experience it, it is often on an asian airlines narrow bodies, CX have come to mind as an airline I have recently felt a little pressure.
When I was younger, I had ear problems and when I would get on a plane during takeoffs and landings I could no longer have conversations with the people next to me because I couldn't hear them due to the pressure, so I'm quite glad I no longer feel it. I don't actually remember how long its been since I haven't felt any pressure, so I'm just wondering on average how long does it usually take before someone begins to no longer experience it? |
when i was younger i had the same problem the OP had. however, i had a major ear problem when i was in middle school that required multiple surgeries(lost hearing). Ever since then, my ears hardly pop when I fly. I can hear fine too when aboard an a/c.
