I think it may be easier for me to just drive from Canberra to Sydney... But Brazil does sound nice.

Under the Canadian "rule" I get YDB..

Burwash Landings.. even further North at 61'....

At least that one has a runway length listed (6000ft which seems respectable)

Seems I am fated to "be" isolated airfields with no commercial service!

Hmm, Mullen, NE (population: 490) is apparently the only remaining town in Hooker County. I suspect MHN is a general aviation airport, so not one I'm likely to be heading to.

JMB - Jamba, Angola. Interestingly enough it is located almost exactly in a straight line south of my home town. NRK is at 16:15 E (58:35 N), JMB is at 16:02 E (14:41 S). Check it out on GCM: http://gc.kls2.com/cgi-bin/gc?PATH=N...avy&MAP-STYLE=

Never been but sounds like a fine idea, especially now that the temps are dropping!

Brilliant idea. Looks like I have an excuse to visit faraway, exotic Oklahoma now.

Gaggal Airport (DHM) India

It's someplace in the far north of India near Pathankot.

Doubtful I'll ever visit...
