This is true. The exact same type of USA Today theft happened to me a couple of weeks ago (also at BWI, but in the AA concourse).

When I went to Bishkek for work I fell asleep in F and my seat mate tried to take my Oakleys OFF MY HEAD. I woke up and asked him what the h@ll he was doing? He just smiled and said something in Russian. This was the beginning of the worst experience in my life living in that sh*thole known as Central Asia.

I think we are forgetting, in our rush to love the lie of American "classless" society, that some people really are better than others.
And by "better" I mean more educated, well spoken, healthy, intelligent, financially responsible, gainfully employed, free of warrants, free of criminal records, free of garnishments, child support or other civil judgments, unwanted children, addictions, less prone to violence, socially aware and globally exposed...or some combination thereof. We may all be equal under the law (yeah, sure), but we are certainly not all equal.
Sorry, the sleeve-tatted, wife beating, walmart bag carrying mook whose favorite form of entertainment is WFC and who has not read a book in his life never made an appearance on airlines until carriers like WN popped up and "democratized" the flying experience.
