Forgive me if this question has been asked in the thread - what does "Com" mean in the far right EDIT/DEL(ete) column?

It means you have made a comment in the comments box for the flight.

I found it easy to do, for several purposes I have kept a spreadsheet of dates that I fly for about 20 years. Also about 15 years ago I put together a list of where when I had flown in the previous 15 years, So it was not too daunting to do, the detail is not down to exact flight numbers and depature times, but it is pretty comprehensive for the last 30years, only those before that are a bit more hazy.......

Just curious, which carrier was this?

I've been trying to get various carriers to provide history (I stopped saving paper FF statements a while ago to cut down on clutter) and have been having mixed results, but mostly the response has been pretty pathetic.

As a more generic follow-up to crhptic, what resources are available to travelers to track down specific information about past flights? For instance, are flight manifests eventually made available to the public for decades-old flights, and if so, who would have them (specific airline, governmental agency, etc.)? Would an airline be able (or willing) to track down past flight information if you were not a frequent flyer member at the time of the flight? Is there any library that has a historical airline timetable collection? Does OAG sell old comprehensive timetables (e.g., from the 80's)? Do acquiring airlines (e.g., AA and TWA) have historical information at their disposal of the acquired airline?

I know I've asked a lot of questions, but I would like to know what options I have to fill in some holes in my past travels. I'm guessing I'm SOL, but I wanted to ask the experts before I give up.

You can probably guess the carrier based on the data in my profile. I would suspect that any airline is most likely to be accomodating in the case of their most frequent flyers.

I hear you about the clutter. I have 2 old attach'e cases (remember those?) packed with FF statements and associated stuff. But I'm glad I saved it.

Does anyone know why the Delta/Comair flights (3XXX) to and from CVG don't show up in the BTS stats? (As best I can figure, if I flew on a small jet from the late 1990's to the present through CVG on Delta/Comair, I must have flown on a Canadair, but that doesn't help with respect to registration #'s). Is there anywhere else this info would be available?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to track down Midwest Airlines historical equipment information? Apparently it is not big enough to be included in the BTS stats.

May I ask how you got DL to provide this info? Did you call a particular department, or write, or what? I sent them a letter (to the SkyMiles general address in Atlanta) asking for a history of my account for as far back as they could. I never received any response whatsoever.

I checked 2006-2008 and Comair departures from CVG do show up then, but don't show for earlier years. My best guess is that perhaps Comair wasn't required to report to BTS at that time?

This may be true or may not, depending on which routes you fly. Comair isn't the only Delta Connection carrier serving CVG, and some of the others fly Embraer RJs.

If you mean only the type of aircraft (as opposed to a specific registration number), you can check out their Wikipedia page and sites like airfleets.net and planespotters.net for current and historical fleet info. If you know when you flew you can probably narrow it down to one or two types of aircraft (it would be MD80 series and/or Boeing 717 if it was within the last decade or so).

I've got lots of travel agent itineraries from flights I took in 1997 that indicate that the flights were operated by Comair -- so I think I have that part narrowed down correctly. The routes in question are:

MCI-CVG and CVG-LEX (and vice versa). Strangely, there were many times I flew a small jet between MCI and CVG and then got on an MD80 to fly the 70 miles to LEX.

Using flightstats for more recent years, I've determined that all but a few were on 717's (the exceptions being recent flights between MCI-DCA on E175s and a 2002 flight between MCI-LGA that I am guessing was on a DC-9).

When I asked my original question, I was referring to registration numbers. I guess I'll just have to settle for aircraft type for the moment.

You could try calling the number of the back of your card. The more lifethime miles you have, the more likely they are to be accomodating. Good luck.

Question: my domestic map shows my US flights, the world map does not show any west coast/hawaii flights for me.
I contacted FlightMemory but they seem to have a hard time understanding English - their replies are that the domestic map shows the correct flights.

Q: Why isnt the world map complete?
