Miles tracker
I was wondering if there is a recommended program/web site that I can track my miles from multiple airline and hotel programs. There used to be a good one at myairmiles.com but it looks like they've closed up shop.
Thanks,
Jim

Hey welcome to FT.
If you are a customer of the following financial firms you can sign up for their program where it tracks most of your stuff from bank accounts, emails,to miles.
I use Fidelity's Full View, i believe all these firms use Yodlee.
Also, one can sign up straight from them here:

The most complete mileage manager and the one that's been in business the longest and which doesn't have a thread for problems (ala the thread for miletracker) is the original: MileageManager.
mileagemanager.com
As it is Web-based, it tends to be available wherever you are, at home, at the office or even on vacation and no worry about hard-drive crashes, operating system incompatibility and even more important these days, viruses on your machine.
Anyway, hope this helps.
P.S. and MileageManager helps fund making FlyerTalk available to all.

You can do a lot more with Yodlee than with Miletracker.

Welcome to FT!
Why not just use an Excel spreadsheet. You can customize it the way you want. If you're not familiar with Excel, I bet someone here on FT must have developed a template that you could use.

Oddly enough, the best Miles tracker is named MileTracker
. I use the Fidelity branded version of Yodlee, but while it gives me all my updated balances, it doesn't show me status level, tier miles/stays, miles/stays to next level or, and I use this often, a graphical history of my balances as MilesTracker does.
