From Mike:
Late July!?!? I don't know if I can make it
Seriously, though, I am glad that the possibility (probability) of a standalone version is still alive.
I apologize for the recent 'expiration' and confusing upgrade message with this version of MileTracker. I promise that this was unintentional. I completely forgot that I had long ago configured it to stop working on June 15.
There are two workarounds at the moment: 1) Install DeskPort which includes a fully up-to-date and functional version of MileTracker (see the May 28th message below) or 2) Set your computer's clock back to before June 15, 2004 before running MileTracker.
I'm close to completing discussions with another company that will allow me to offer a standalone version of MileTracker in the very near future (late July?). Please be patient and consider trying DeskPort, which I also wrote, until that time.

Would any enterprising web developers want to try developing something similar? My web coding skills are pretty rudimentary, but I have been able to grab balance updates from vbscript for several FF programs so far, and displaying them as a html table is pretty straightforward. Sourceforge project anyone?

Indeed the trick is keeping up with changing websites.
Many programs are easy to query, but some (like AA) get a bit trickier.
So far I've been able to query the following programs balances successfully using vbscript/javascript:
qantas
JAL
airmilesmart
continental
northwest
asiamiles
ebay anything points
goldpoints
mypoints
epoll
erewards
not working yet (of course these are the most important!!):
american
delta
united
usair
I'm trying to develop an xml-based query system, that should be easier to modify than requiring a new binary update.
