FlightView+ Error
Recently, while using the paid-for (via Apple App Store, USA) FlightView Plus App I receive the following error message for each and every flight added to a given trip "Unable to Enable
Notification. Could not turn on notifications for [AIRLINE & FLIGHT NUMBER]. Please try again later."
Interestingly FlightView Plus is - according to Apple App Store, USA - "no longer available in my country" (or some similar language).
Any thoughts on this error and what I may be doing wrong. Apple has done a tremendous job of confusing me more and more with the various notification options available for lock screen and unlocked notifications. So, perhaps I've done something wrong there with a knock on effect in FlightView Plus.
And I'm aware that FlightView Plus is now owned by OAG. Is that error message pushing me towards a paid/subscription model for notifications?

According to their website, there is a new version of Flightview and the old version may have already been retired. The new app is available to download from the Google Play Store on my Samsung phone (Contains ads - In-app purchases). The website has a link to download the app from the Apple App Store (sorry, I don't have my iPad with me, so I can't test if it can be downloaded).

I've had the free Flightview free app on my phone for quite some time. Never used it until today b/c ... well ... had the paid app.
This "new" Flightview app is ad supported ($2.99 per month or $24.99 per year to remove ads). So much for my (admittedly long ago) purchase outright of the paid app.
Have added an upcoming trip to the newer app and will see if notifications return.
PS Mods, thanks for moving. As a long time (20+ years!) FT member/liflong user of Travel Technology group, I had no idea this one existed! Fascinating and added to my subscribed forums.
