Flight tracking apps?

Hi all, do you use any flight tracking apps like Flighty or App in the Air? Keen to see what others are using and recommending. Thank you

I've used Flighty and find it reliable for tracking flights. App in the Air is decent too. Both offer good features and updates for frequent flyers.

It really depends what you are wanting the app to do and focus on?

For me, I want an app which focuses on managing and get reliable status of current and coming flight bookings.
i used to use App In The Air, but later found and easy decision to switch to Flighty.

if you want to build a history of flights, Flighty sucks since it can't handle private or charter flights..
so App in the Air all the way for me.

though I do want to consider making my own spreadsheet eventually......

Tripit for building and managing itineraries, automatically updates flighty for fast alerting, ba97 for flight history but thinking of switching that one out.

Hi,

Can FR24 or flightstats push an alert when a tracked flight is assigned an aircraft frame?

I'm developing a more modern website with many more features, including direct boarding passes on the site, flight notifications, statistics, and badges.

Understand it's in beta (bugs with the badge toasts, incredibly slow) but, I loaded my 30ish flights into your platform and calling a Generative AI for data makes the whole thing woefully inaccurate in a lot of cases, especially IME future flights.

There are API that will contain the infos you need without inacurracies like that. Probably for much cheaper than calling Gemini.

Gemini is, so far, the cheapest API I've found. The ones designed specifically for aviation are much more accurate, but they're also much more expensive. If I have 20 users, each with 50 flights, I'm already starting to pay, whereas with Gemini, I can cover more than 2,500 flights.
But can you tell me what was inaccurate?

After looking closer:

Time conversion mostly, it giving me times in UTC which make no sense for flights.

Logged AY42 (ICN-HEL), says it's 01:00 to 08:40 when it's 21:00 to 05:40
Various hour skews on intereuropean

Previous flights are probably somewhat close to real times than the theoritical

It must be something to do with the time settings, because it works perfectly for me; it must really have to do with the users time zone
